Project controls and digital delivery

Scheduling, controls and reporting that hold up under construction pressure.

AZ Engineering supports contractors, consultants and project owners with Primavera P6 scheduling, project controls, and the document and data automation that keeps monthly reporting accurate and on time.

What we deliver

Four areas of work, usually combined on the same project: the programme, the controls around it, the reporting that comes out of it, and the systems that carry it.

Project scheduling

Primavera P6 programmes, baselines and monthly updates, critical path and delay analysis, plus recovery and acceleration plans that reflect site reality.

Project controls

Progress measurement, earned value, cost and resource tracking, look-ahead plans, dashboards and the monthly reporting pack.

Data and document automation

Registers, logs and trackers built and automated in Excel, bulk Word and PDF production, and clean-up or migration of data between systems.

Digital and web delivery

Company websites, e-commerce set-up and lightweight internal tools that connect with the systems a team already runs.

A Teams assistant for everyday project questions

AZ Engineering builds assistants that sit inside Microsoft Teams and answer routine questions from your own project records: where a document sits, what a clause says, what the current progress figure is. They work from the phone and from the desktop, in the same chat window the team already uses.

Runs inside your own Microsoft Teams account, for named users only
Answers are drawn from the project material you provide
Read-only by design: nothing in your systems is altered
Available in one-to-one chats, and can be added to a team channel

Which documents are still outstanding for the June interim payment certificate?
Two items are open: the variation order VO-014 approval and the updated material test report. Both were requested on 4 June and are still shown as pending in the document register.
What is the current progress against the approved baseline?
Planned progress to the end of the period is 62.4 per cent against 58.1 per cent actual, a slippage of 4.3 per cent, concentrated in the substructure activities.

Illustrative conversation. Answers are generated from project records that the organisation has supplied.

How we work

Short engagements, defined outcomes. Most work starts with a review of what is already in place rather than a new system.

01  Review

We look at the programme, the registers and the reporting cycle, and identify where time is lost and where the numbers stop agreeing.

02  Build

We build or correct the schedule, automate the reporting, and test the output against a live reporting period.

03  Hand over

Your team receives the working files, a short written procedure, and a walkthrough session so the process continues without us.

Contact

Send the project or the problem in a few lines, and we will confirm what is involved and how long it will take.
